Hi, I’m Matt.

I was born and raised in Alaska where I learned the power and beauty of nature.  Math is my friend, guide, and mentor.  Math has helped me see the miracles of the universe.  I want to share this gift with you and your kids.

I am the 4th/5th grade teacher  at the Hansen Alternative Program in Olympia, Washington.

I am a husband, father of two girls, musician, ultimate frisbee player, math blogger, and amateur canoeist.
